2009 Leaders Report

Following 6 year’s with Burbage Scouting, I am standing down to allow myself to develop other interests. The group has appointed an experienced Scouter “Denise” who will be running the section from Sept 2009 with the assitance of Kev & Ben. Yours in Scouting Scout Leader team

The Scouts and Leaders have enjoyed another busy year, and would like to welcome Ben Rossi and Kevin Towers, who have joined the team as ASL’s, and will soon both be warranted leaders. We will be starting this term with 27 members (including 8 cubs moving on from Nicki and Rob). To date we have enjoyed 4 various camps, both parents and scouts experienced a flight, at our glider camp repeated from last year. Scouts took part in the District Football Competition, and also attended the Rememberance Service, Carol Service, and the Burbage Carnival.
